We know whenever a number of our politicians flap their jaws, they’re lying. Don’t be misled Harry Reid is dropping the assault weapon ban from legislation to be debated in the Senate next month. He’s leaving the back door open for the opportune time, thinking it’s their business, to encroach upon our inalienable rights even further. Don’t forget how they shoved the health care bill down out throats.

New York’s Mayor Michael Bloomberg is using his money to buy off senators into backing more stricter (and may I add illegal), gun control measures, while a group of Colorado sheriffs say they wont enforce new state laws requiring background checks and limits on ammunition in magazines. As one sheriff put it, the new law gives residents “a false sense of security, while attacking their liberties, freedom and the right of self-defense.” (1)

The Senate continued their shenanigans by voting on a budget in the wee hours of the morning Saturday that includes massive tax hikes. However, four democrat senators up for re-election voted against it – just so they could tell the folks back home they opposed it in order to get sent back to Washington.

Meanwhile, the media continues censoring the news, failing to tell us the truth about shootings in Connecticut and Texas, Benghazi, Fast and Furious and who knows what else.

During his trip to the Mideast the President announced that America will stand by Israel, but told another gathering they’re responsible for all the violence. When Hamas fired rockets into southern Israel during his visit, we didn’t hear a peep from him. When speaking to Jewish students those from Ariel College weren’t invited because their college is located in the West Bank. Some think this gesture was to force Israel into giving up land that already belongs to them (See Genesis 15:18-21). Do we really want to go there with God on this?

When visiting Georgetown University a while back the president’s staff saw to it that all crosses, any mention of Christ, or symbols of Christianity were removed. Yet, when addressing the Palestinians no stink raised with him standing underneath a photo of Yasser Arafat – a  thug responsible for the death of many innocent people in the region and across the world.

Soon the Supreme Court will rule on California’s Prop 8 and the Defense of Marriage Act. After their health care ruling, do you have any confidence they’ll do the right thing? I don’t.

Watch what the president and our leaders do, not what they say.

This is not governing, but about gaining more power over us. The real intention is to divide the country so they can take more control – ‘divide and conquer’, if you will.

To believe anything else is naive and deadly.
