How Will Media Report GOP Beating Democrats in New Gallup PollAs you listen to media accounts of who’s to blame for the ‘shutdown’ remember polls like the NBC/Wall Street Journal one, which has the GOP at fault and is being used by Fox, has flaws.

20% of the respondents, or 1 out of 5, work for the federal government. Others polled were either spouses or those closley related. (1)

I’m not a cheerleader for the Republicans either, because they have just as many elitists like McCain, McConnell and Rove, who’ve served long enough.

Take a look at the clip of Senator Ted Cruz being heckled at the Values Voter SummittMike+Lee+Ted+Cruz+Senate+Holds+Senate+Joint+GwQSDkPaj2sx in DC on Friday. Note how he holds it together and doesn’t let the agitators get to him.

When he does confront them, he blames Obama (tactics we’ve seen used by his ilk), but keep in mind that the stateists from the GOP may also be responsible because people and pundits claiming to be conservative have launched vicious attacks against him and Senator Mike Lee. Keep Matthew 24:7a in mind as you listen to the crowd chant ‘USA, USA.’ (That verse has been interpreted to speak of civil unrest (or civil war) within a nation. Battle lines are being drawn, people.)

Cruz went on to warn that for almost 400 years America offered the next generation a better life than the previous one – that is until now. He quoted from Esther and said that we, you and I, were here ‘for such a time as this” (Esther 4:13-14).  (2)

One Comment to “Be Aware of Deception”

I love the mantra: “For such a time as this.” Ever since I studied the book of Esther, “For such a time as this” has rung in my heart. From the book of Jeremiah comes another hope: “The battle is not ours, but rather God’s.” That doesn’t mean we don’t pray, rather we pray for God’s outcome to the battle.
