The statue of “IRON MIKE” is a tribute by the French to members of the Army’s 82nd and 101st Airborne Divisons who liberted St Mere Eglise, France on June 6, 1944 (D-Day). Scripture tells us to never forget what “great things” God has Done for us. I’m honored to say that my father, his older brother and my mom’s two brothers fought during World War II.
