“For behold, The LORD GOD of Hosts is taking away from Jerusalem and from Judah support and supply. ..the mighty man and the soldier, the judge and the prophet, the diviner and the elder, the captain of fifty and the man of rank…I will make boys their princes…and women shall rule over them” Isaiah 3:1-4 and 12 ESV
Tell me that this section of scripture doesn’t have application to our current situation.
Look at the faces of these people, and as we’re involved in what looks to be a third World War, are these the people you want to entrust with national security issues? If you said yes, then you’re a banana pie.
It all goes back to an informed electorate, many of whom who used to read their Bibles. And as one old Detroit copper said; “When you lower the standards to where there are no standards, this is what you get.”
Dr. J. Vernon McGee said; “this is the mark of a decadent age and the judgement of God when a nation is not producing great men.”
