Walking the Point

Recently, someone told me about the revival that has gone on for years in Azusa, California. How many times have we heard of those coming to Christ after a retreat or service? All fine and dandy.

If so many have been “born again” how come it hasn’t effected change in the country?

I’m not convinced many Christians know how to apply and consider what Scripture say’s as the election approaches. How many have given thought to this?

Have they considered our deteriorating relationship with Israel and what consequences lie in store if President Obama and John Kerry continue down this road?

Have they considered God constantly has His eye on Israel and doesn’t like it when a nation mistreat them?

Take a gander at Jeremiah 30:16 to see what God say’s will happen when you mess with His people: “Therefore all they that devour you shall be devoured; and all your adversaries, everyone one of them, shall go into captivity; and they that spoil you shall be a spoil, and all that prey upon you will I give for a prey.”

It’s chilling, yet many of us don’t understand this because we’ve never been the recipients of God’s judgment.

Marriage has been redefined, perverts are permitted to use the little girl’s room and we look the other way while babies are being butchered.

I’m certain many people, including the younger generation of Christians, will or have cast votes for Bernie Sanders or Hillary Clinton, both stone-cold Marxists. Many have been duped by Donald Trump and career-minded politician, John Kasich. Both are frauds and don’t give a lick about us.

People must familiarize themselves with the country, our history and the Constitution. Professor Randy Barnett tells us “the Constitution is the law that governs those who govern us. Those in government are our servants to protect our rights and the Constitution is to protect us from them.” (1)

Barber goes on to say that “we have been given individual, inalienable rights and our Constitution was needed to empower government to secure our rights, while at the same time limiting governmental power so they don’t violate our rights.” (2)

How many know this?

Washington is thwarting the will of the people and cramming iron-fisted policies down our throats. Policies and laws that God calls wrong (Isaiah 5:20).

Where’s your line in the sand? Where’s your courage?

When will you understand you must choose a side and stand for what God calls right or what society calls right. It’s the age-old question, “Who is on the Lord’s side (Exodus 32:26)?
