Tradition tells us Patrick Henry was moved to write his famous speech, delivered on March 23, 1775 before the Virginia House of Burgesses, after he saw a pastor being publicly beaten for not obtaining a license to preach. The man later died. (1)
On March 23, 2010 the President, against the wishes of an overwhelming majority of Americans, signed the health care bill into law. Events like this are no accident and are used to erase the memory of significant dates in our nation’s history.
History repeats itself, and as one man said; “those who will not be governed by God will be ruled by tyrants.” (2)
To commemorate the speech I have included a link so you can read it. Then read again, and again. Note the scripture references and tone, as some not only believe he was appealing to his fellow citizens, but to praying to God at the same time.

Where is the Patrick Henry of today??!! May God raise up His strong witnesses with a voice that speaks His truth for our nation.
