Most of us knew what we were getting when Barak Obama was elected president.
However, former Defense Secretary, Robert Gates, has shown he is nothing more than a high paid Washingtonian bureaucrat. If he felt that strongly President Obama “did not believe in the mission” before sending 30,000 troops into battle, then he had an obligation to step-up to the plate at that time.
Waiting until retiring to unleash on Obama for the way he handled things doesn’t
cut it. Gates and a host of high-ranking military officers should have resigned in protest while these horrible decisions were being made, and then inform the public why.
The scandals hovering over the White House and now with Obama’s pal Chris Christie, along with ‘tell all’ books by those who have eaten at the public trough for their entire career, reveal elites have contempt for American citizens.
When you have the time go to your Bible and read Jeremiah 48:10. Focus on the word deceitfully and I’ll explain it in another post. Better yet, I’ll let the man who delivered a sermon on war many years ago do it.
Don’t let Governor Christie’s mess or any other story distract you from Mr. Gates revelations. Contact your congressional representative and senators and express your outrage. Perhaps a statesmen will emerge among the “straw men” with the courage to ask tough questions, and then draft the articles of impeachment.
It’s that serious.
